A world written across the page
Of fear and pain
We aren’t the “wasted youth”
We are the artists
The upgrade from paints and pastels
Our words aren’t pretty or sweet
We speak of division and hate
We write of agony and bleeding
Watch our hearts bleed across the page
We, the ones you roll your eyes at
We are artists
And our message is Art
You turn your nose in disgust and shame
We write the truth
After all, this is Art
