Trying To Seal the Wall
I’m lying here
I’m awake.
I’m housing a flooded brain,
flooded with words
for the Latin quiz I’ll take in six hours
for my worries
for my fears
for my confidence
for this artificial insomnia.
Whatever the case I’m
still lying
here, awake,
tired in my dark room,
trying to find sleep in the
first chronological
moments of the day.
