The last time I saw you, you were wearing black jeans

You were wearing white vans. 

The last time I saw you, you were riding your skateboard 

You had a helmet on your head 

And pads on your knees and elbows. 

You hated skirts 

Now it's all you wear. 

We used to be best friends 

Now you make fun of me for not being like you. 

The last time I saw you, you cared so much about school

Now you barely go. 

You got new friends 

And all I have is memories of us.

We didn't care who knew us 

Now all you care about is being popular. 

The last time I saw you, you were different 

Than who you are today.
