lost and alone

Emergency,
Running out the door without a phone but doing all with such urgency.
Not knowing where to go from here on now.
We tell ourselves to take a break.
But you wouldn’t understand if I told you I was lost.
I know what is like to lose yourself and to not be found
In a world so fake I just need somethings that’s real,
We never open up because we scared to close.
Numbing ourselves hoping that it lasts.
