A Scar
This is a scar
Once close
But now far
This is a scar from my surgery
12 longs hours
Of gut and heart felt misery
This is my battle wound
From my two weeks at my home
With no one to who could answer to whom
This is scar represents a memory
From which I have grown
And made into my one kind of story
This scar is forever marked on me
As a constant reminder
Of who I used to be
This scar will forever be close to my heart
It brought me close to my family
And made me have a more positive start
