My problem
My problem is that I’m gay
That I like the same sex
And it seems that my parents,
No matter how hard they try
Can’t get past that fact
My problem is that I’m fat
I spill over my jeans, and squeeze into leggings
And it seems that I can’t
No matter what others tell me
Can’t get past that fact
My problem is that I’m not smart
I don’t understand the lesson first, if at all
And it seems that my teachers,
No matter what they know about me
Can’t get past that fact
My problem is that my poems are too dark
Too depressing,too bad, too everything
And it seems that everyone
No matter how they look at it
Can’t get past that fact
