My dad wakes me. “Get up. We’re late for your baseball tournament.” I gather my clothes and wonder, where did my sock go? I look in my drawer, and on the floor...finally I find it in my dog’s mouth...he looked at me, his glare punishment for my extra minutes of sleep.
