Haiku Attempts
Words of hate
Sit on sister’s tongues
Waiting to be thrown in punches
She wanted the moon,
So he gave her his heart
And watched it shatter into stars.
The stars shined bright
Reflected off the crystal water
That hide lost sailors graves
The trees were so high the clouds sifted through her hands
Yet she was never satisfied, so she climbed on
Until the branches that brought her there broke
The birds flew high
Free to move like wind
Wishing to be human
