i press rewind and remember when
you held me close,close to you again
i was falling fast, for your gentle heart
learning our differences, were so far apart
i knew i had to leave,i didnt want to let go
but i am this time, our memories no longer grow
how could you be so cold to me
all i wanted was love and honesty
you know all the right things to say
but im gonna be fine, im going my own way
