Count the roses that fall
Why can't I stop the tears,
dripping down my face like glass shatters.
Bitten nails,
Skin pale,
Waiting for my heart to freeze into hale.
Broken bones,
Burnt eyes,
shattered is my body because of your lies.
I'm sick of this,
I want to cry,
my brain is screaming but my heart just wants to die.
Even though my body aches,
All my bones crumble and shake.
I will wait for eternity
Even if it's a thousand years.
I will wait for you,
As I wait I shall watch the roses grow and bloom.
I will count them as they fall.
Winter, summer,
All seem to pass as blurred colors,
lonely bed,
cold floor,
The window cracked, four years ago.
I watched and waited,
Looking at the door hoping to see your face.
Even though my body aches,
All my bones crumble and shake.
I will wait for eternity
Even if it's a thousand years.
I will wait for you,
As I wait I shall watch the roses grow and bloom.
I will count them as they fall.
Loose grip,
falling,
As I fall I'm only dreaming of your lips.
Smooth skin,
cold eyes,
I step onto the beach and scream my lies.
Even though my body aches,
All my bones crumble and shake.
I will wait for eternity
Even if it's a thousand years.
I will wait for you,
As I wait I shall watch the roses grow and bloom.
I will count them as they fall.
The days that pass,
seem like years,
As the go by I loose my tears.
Worn is my brain,
tired is my heart,
But all I seem to hear is the voice of the lark.
Even though my body aches,
All my bones crumble and shake.
I will wait for eternity
Even if it's a thousand years.
I will wait for you,
As I wait I shall watch the roses grow and bloom.
I will count them as they fall.
