Favorite Quote:
Dont ever let anyone tell you the sky's the limit when there's footprints on the moon.

Shots were heard and fires blazed,
Frankly enough, many were dazed.
Men jumped at the chance to fight,
While women and children were paralyzed with fright.
The fight for independence had begun,
Screams of pain and tears of sadness
Rung
Louder than the shots that killed them.
Somber families soon forget
Loved ones that left.
But hope to be reunited in a better place.
Where there is no war,
And nobody can die.
A place where the angels sing the chorus on high.
But seven years of the fighting drag,
Each year just equally as long.
After many battles and countless
lives,
Independence takes its rise.
From the depths of dreams to the reality of success,
Each and every American would accept no less.
Finally liberty makes its mark,
And America as a whole disembarks,
From a troubled past and bloody war.
But all that's good shall ever last,
Those who fought and those who passed
Now stand guard the country we know,
Guarding all friend and foe.
