Memories
Picking up my bags
 Walking away
 Forgetting the memories
That I thought were here to stay

 I should have known
 Things wouldn’t work out
 This love was lazy
 Like a couch

 You say it hurts
 I don’t care anymore
 All I know
Is that my heart is sore

 When you left
 It was a real pain
 It stabbed my heart
 It’s driving me insane

 Don’t you know
 You should have behaved
 If you had
 You could have stayed

 Now you’ve smashed
 What we had
 I miss it
Even though our love was mad

 Our love went missing
 It’s burning away
 I hope you know
 While we had it
 Our love was great

 You’ve picked up your bags
 You’re walking away
With those memories burning in the back of your mind
The ones that were never ours in the first place
