The girl
I want you to imagine a little girl
Around the age of four
Who looks like she’s made of sweet sweet glass
So delicate so light so full of sass
She sits in her room filled with joy
Hoping that she can find her toy
Now imagine her ten years old
Sitting in a room with her phone
Never coming out
Building walls inside her head hoping that it all will end
Please imagine her one last time
The same but jump her two years high
She sits in a room with them
Telling them about what’s “wrong”
Fading away in her mind
Not wanting to come outside.
