August Night
That August night
Was such affright
It would scare the men away
What happen to me and my friends
Well that depends
On what you call friends.
All they did was run
Not for another gun
But to save them selves the hurt
Which I ate dirt
I was not a pleasant sight
It surly gave me a fright
That one August night
It was a dark and dreary sight
The one that I am scare for life
I still search for him
The one with that grin
The one that got me to the ground
And turn me world upside down.
