"The Fighting Song"
Verse1 Part 1:
I’m so sick of this fighting
How can one night last so long?
I will never forget what you said to me
But I guess the same thing goes for you.
Verse 1 Part 2:
And I’m sorry I’m so mean
You know it really means I love you
But at least showing a little emotion
Is better than not seeming to care at all.
Chorus:
This is the fighting song
It plays in my head all night long
And is the first thing I wake up to in the day
This is the fighting song
It just feels so wrong
And it shouldn’t have to be this way.
Verse 2 Part 1:
I’m tired of your angry glares
It makes me want to hate you more
I know I threw away your love
But it was real so I had to run.
Verse 2 Part 2:
And I’d do anything for you
But you’ve already moved on
I guess hopefully one day
I’ll take my chances and move on too.
Chorus:
This is the fighting song
It plays in my head all night long
And is the first thing I wake up to in the day
This is the fighting song
It just feels so wrong
And it shouldn’t have to be this way.
