Dismiss Yourself
Hey there, confusion.
You've found me again.
Spinning in circles, I'm falling down.
I've got a "ring around a Rosy";
I've lost my pocketful of posies.
Gone forever; unlike you.
They'll always be missing.
I could search a lifetime for what I need but never find it.
Let's take another trip on the flip-side.
A vortex could appear, pull me in..
Show me swirls of only black and white,
And I'd know nothing more than I did before.
Being hypnotized to see what you want won't work,
When you're too lost and original.
I broke the mould years ago.
Good luck finding a cookie-cutter human.
Did you expect that I'd throw in the towel?
Dazed by your offers and bribes?
Happy to consume what you supply?
My bliss isn't yours.
As hard as it is to believe,
I can find my own way,
So why don't you dismiss yourself?
