Smile once a day
My life story there’s not much to tell
I’ve got issues that led me to fall
The memory of your smile did help
But we were left to save ourselves
From a life of blood and bruises
That our enemies it amuses
Promises I haven’t kept
Every night I haven’t slept
I see your face in a dream
Sometimes it feels so real
And now as the sun rises
I can think of you
My heart might bleed to death
But for you I’ll pull through
So take my hand
And give me hope
Don’t let me fall
I need to know
Is it worth it in the end?
My hearts just confused
I can’t stand a second more
I’m so tired of being abused
So tomorrow at sunset
We will break through
Be the moon to my night,
Be the star to light my way
I have no more words to say
I don’t feel like im alone
While I’m staring at my phone
You can be strong I can be beaten
You could be tough, I could be broken
All my tears and all my words
have been cried and have been spoken
They say that we’ll be fine
But there’s poison in my veins
For the rainbow
Put up with the rain
And maybe when the sun shines through
Our smile will be true
So take my hand
And give me hope
Don’t let me fall
I need to know
Is it worth it in the end?
My hearts just confused
I can’t stand a second more
I’m so tired of being abused
So tomorrow at sunset
We will break through
and our smile will be true
