A single black Rose to represent forever

My first love, the White Rose, is the key to my affection
While the black Rose fights for my happiness

Yet I love the black Rose not any less

The White Rose is innocent and pure like a child
It's petals a pleasure to touch and see
Whereas the black Rose is impatient and wild
But never loses faith in me

As I ponder and question the two
Racking my brains for an answer
Finding which thorn won't cut through
The ballerina or the break dancer

One with poise, grace, and style
The other nothing but improvisation
The first, too proud, will only stay awhile
While the black would stay till the end of creation

As the black Rose overpowers the White
