Crash (Goodbye)
Why can't you just see,
That the difference is me?
That step you're so willing to take,
The last one might have come too late.
I see you, wish upon a star,
You don't know how lucky you are,
I'm looking for you near, searching far,
I look to the sky and see my star.
Why can't you just see,
All that you've ever wanted from me?
I wish I could say the same for you,
Same size, different shoe.
I'm not burning up, but I'm ready crash,
Extract my death wish from the ash,
You knew this could never last,
Speeding along, gone in a flash.
Why can't you just see?
The world is structured so rigidly.
No room: if it's bent,
It'll break, time well spent.
Hesitates, then falls in descent,
Irreparable; time well spent.
Time well spent living a lie.
Now all that's left to say (goodbye)
