"When life gives you lemons, bite into it and embrace the bitter taste of reality." (My own words)

In the lonely darkness
Scared to my veins
I cut through the lies
That once made complains

Voices shut off my thoughts
Screaming as you did
I pry through roar
As I close my eyelids

Bruises cover my body
Pain is everywhere
You said this was love
I told you it was unfair

Tears soak into my shirt
Wishing they would go away
The feeling in my heart
Wants me to fade to gray
