Embers fall
and feathers glow.
Her glare has you enthralled
and you wonder what it is that she might know.
Feel the heat from her nest
and stare in awe.
Watch her rest
and you can’t even notice one flaw.
Marvel at this wondrous beast
and wonder how it came to be.
It’s hostility is in the least
as it flies off so free.
This magnificent bird is so rare,
of this you are definitely aware.
