His Arms
Your arms hold me tight with all of your might.
Your hands long to be the ones to protect.
Protect a boy who cries into the night.
 You have a power I didn’t expect.

But I don’t know why I’m so damn afraid.
Why is it so hard to let people in?
My heart knows that I don’t want you to fade.
Still being with you is the sweetest sin.

I know that someday, I want to give in.
Four walls around my heart are stopping me.
And I still don’t know where your heart has been.
I know you’re my key to answer my plea.

Honestly, I do want to be with you.
And on that day, I’ll say “I love you too.”
