Open Wounds (Forever a Memory)

My wounds are open,
The blood is flowing,
Hurt again,
But it won't be showing.
I'll keep it all
Keep it all inside,
For no one to see,
It'll be my burden to hide.
I'm ashamed to say,
I love you,
After what you did,
With whatever you may do.
I may be just a distant memory,
A ghost of your past,
But the memory of you,
Forever will it last.

I honestly had to post twice. For some reason I really like the rhythm you have in your first stanza.

Wow, I like the rhythm you have in the Stanza 1,2 and 4. Kinda weak in 3..But good job
