Black Abyss

Freezing the cold liquid drips down my face.
Trying not to think about much at all.
Breathing halts as my heart quickens its pace.
I step to the cliffs edge ready to fall.
Minds racing the adrenaline kicks in.
I go to jump before I change my mind.
Praying this wont be considered a sin.
Black abyss surrounds I want to rewind.
Much too late now the panic sets inside.
Then a deep calm replaces all I feel.
Forever away from those who have lied.
That paradise cant possibly be real.
Painful as stabbing and twisting a knife.
Darkness takes over the last of my life.
