Is The Real Me
When she wakes up,
To greet the world.
All she sees in the mirror,
Is that one ugly girl.
The pain in her eyes,
None can see.
Why can't anyone be there for her,
And make her believe?
As she gets dressed,
And practices that smile.
She gets all choked up,
And stays silent for awhile.
All she feels like doing,
Is screaming out to people,
Telling them she wants out,
Before she falls in deeper.
But no one is there,
No one can see.
The girl that feels so down,
Is the real me.
