You are everywhere
I'm guilt-ridden since we can't start anew,
I wasn't someone you could rely on
But there is one thing I can promise you:
I will never weep, for you are not gone.
You are a puzzle, whose pieces are lost;
Wishing to be reassembled wholly.
I will be searching, through rain, sun or frost,
For symbols of your existence daily.
The radiant pearls reflect your smile,
The sun’s warm rays embrace me in your place,
The wind speaks in your gentle, soothing style,
The night stars twinkle like your eyes with grace.
You need not a gold plaque or statue;
The earth lives in remembrance of you.
