Lost Time
I honestly don't know what to do
I wish I could help you more
Time just isn't being kind to me and you
It's leaving a scar that's going to be sore
I never imagined that the news you gave me
Would devestate me so completely
Though I smile on the outside the real feelings you'll never see
For I learned to hide my tears very discreetly
You act so strong when I really know
that inside you're scared of what could happen
Without you I wouldn't know where to go
Without you I fear my grip on reality would slacken
It was always you and me against the world
If you should lose the hard battle the picture of happiness would be blurred.
