Tracks
Standing with one foot on the train platform
The other dangling ove the tracks
Scared not knowing how to deal with the storm
Broken and bruised from all the attacks
Across the tracks he is standing right there
Beckoning you calling you to join him
Wanting to go with him, leave the world's snare
Hopelessness bubbling over your brim
The train rumbles closer now is the time
About to take the step leaving your life
But you can't do it commit this soul crime
There's people to help you in all your strife
The train rumbles past you replace your foot
You now have hope and decide to stay put
