Leaving High School
In June I leave behind what is habitual
To voyage forward into the unknown
This time can feel quite pitiful
But is necessary to make your path your own
Friends will scatter and become remote
Eventually fading away forever
Worlds will be violently rocked like a boat
While you adapt to your new endeavor
But long lasting will be your memories
Of these four years gone past
When things seem bleak, look towards your treasury
And never feel downcast
College is the next step on life's long journey
Give the world your best, I know you are worthy
