My Summer Home
Winadu’s beautiful Lake Onota
The chilling Berkshire wind is way too fine
To us, camp was Wakanda foreva
The last summer is near, it’s like a sign
Our brothers we look forward to seeing
My ninth summer could not come any faster
The senior lodge awaits, the best feeling
My final time off the bus, I’ll master
Endless trips, sports, and events we cherished
Loving every second we had left
We pondered our time here, times we relished
Soon, we’d be counselors, time bereft
A few Friday’s away ‘til the start
Wait gone, problem solved, no longer apart
