“Looking for Alaska” is not like most books I have read. It was different because it wasn't what I thought it would be like. If you look at the title “Looking for Alaska” it's a state but come to find out it's a girl. John Greens “Looking for Alaska” is about a boy named Miles who has no friend so and I think a lot of teens can relate to his situation. But Miles wants to go to his dad's old High school Culver Creek. When he gets there he meets a few very interesting people. Colonel; he's a boisterous person with a lot of energy. He's a strong person. Takumi; He's an Asian wiz-kid who loves music. Alaska; she's a moment by moment type of person who doesn't listen to anyone but her self. They all became good friends until one tragedy torn them all apart and threatened their friendship but in the end only made them stonger
