Beaten by Suzanne Weyn
Relationships could be really hard sometimes. In the book “Beaten” by Suzanne Weyn, I liked it but Its probably a book that I wouldn’t read again because throughout the book there is a lot of negativity. For example, Paige had told Ty “I said quit it!” with a swipe of his muscular arms, Ty slapped me aside.
I feel that Ty is not a good boyfriend and he is not a real man because he put his hands on a women. I also think that it has a little positive and love parts in the book because they both glance into one anothers eyes and says “I picture the two of us walking together, hand in hand, across the teller campus.”
I think this because Paige really loves him but at the end it turns out to be Paige alone facing a girl named Laura. Laura really like steve but she doesn’t like Paige. She is always picking on her and talking about how Ty doesn’t want her but does he want Laura?.
I think that this book would be good for people who like boyfriend drama and girlfriend drama, but only ages 12-16. What do you think is going to happen to Laura if she keeps on talking about Paige and keep on flirting and talking to Paige’s first love and
first everything Ty?
