Mark of Athena by Rick Riordon
This book is well paced and exciting. When I read it I couldn’t put it down! This book should get an award!
This book is about seven halfblooded teens (children of Greek/Roman gods) that are sent on a quest that will determine their home camps and the world itself! As they fight against the evil goddess Gae, they try to bring peace to their rivaling camps that have been fighting for nearly a century. Will they succeed their quest, or will they plunge into darkness? You’ll have to read to find out.
This book is extremely exciting throughout the entire book with powerful, yet with a softness that sooths the soul. I would recommend this to readers who have a passion for mythology and adventure.
In conclusion, personally, this is one of the best books I’ve ever read. I can’t wait for the sequel.
