Crackback by John Coy
As a seventeen year old, Miles Manning grows up, and the coaches just keep on getting harder. Yet Miles thinks that he has it the worst. Coach Stahl has been pushing him ever sense he made it to the varsity football level.
If you enjoy a book about teenage drama, sports and drug abuse, and of course, football, then I think that you will really enjoy this book. Especially sense the author ties them in all in one as well. Miles is very envious of his best friend Zach, yet they could never be torn apart.
Of course, until the very “nice” Coach Sepolski goes down with cancer and the “bad” Coach Stahl becomes head coach. From there, it just all goes downhill from there, such examples as troubles with his father, girl troubles, drug abuse, and of course, having to the coach that you really hate.
John Coy makes the book very enjoyable, either if it's the writing style, or the sports themes that he has in his book. If you enjoy it as much as I did, then you will love this book, and look for more John Coy. I look forward to read more books from him.
