Radio(2003) movie review
Radio is a heart warming movie about a mentally challenged young man (Cuba Gooding jr.) named Radio, who is welcomed by a football coach named Jones. (Ed Harris). Cuba Gooding is amazing in this film making the audience laugh, cry and even feel sorry in this very emotional movie. Gooding’s character, Radio never gives up even after he is badly beaten by some members of the football team and deceived and tricked into going into the girl’s locker room. He encounters these emotionally devastating experiences but moves on, eager to make friends and help others. This 109 minute movie is rated PG .It is made exciting with unexpected twists and turns, but it lacks the action to keep the watcher glued to the screen and is occasionally boring. I give this movie a rating of 4 stars out of 5. I was very inspired and touched by radio’s ability to be happy after all those horrible things he went through. I really enjoyed this movie and I hope you will too.
