August 2022 Fiction Contest: It's not a dream

Not being able to keep my focus on road. My head swaying and eyes blinking. When my car got onto the bridge, it felt like I'm on a swing. Suddenly I fell from the bridge, into the fast flowing water. I closed my eyes tightly and, the next thing I know is that my car was in the air. For a second I thought that I was in heaven, until I saw a green slimy hand on my window. My car started to go downwards and there I saw a gigantic creature. Who saved me and said "It's not a dream".
