~We Promised~50 Words~
Before the altar, we kneeled and we prayed. We sang hymns to his face and praised the lord right before his eyes. With the knees we skinned, hands we fisted, voices that screamed, and hearts that sinned, we promised loyalty. When we left the cathedral, we broke our promise again.
