Tunnel
Your light is closing in. It was a world that was shared with everyone, however, now that you are slowing and fading, you want to attach yourself to the dark, dismal world that once seemed so full of promise. It is yours, or rather was. All of the memories seem to do exactly as others have said. They flash quickly and potently. Perhaps you were dead inside all of these years. The physical aspect is more of a show. Death, in your lifestyle is inevitable. You knew it would come, but never this quickly. As the brief slideshow of Kodak moments play as a mirage in your mind, you think of what you would have liked to say to your sister, the only person who seemed to fully understand you. Nothing. No words can be prominent enough to leave in your wake. As the light seems to fade, all of your thoughts seem to dissipate. All you hope for is that you are wearing a clean pair of panties.
