Democracy... while it lasts is more bloody than either aristocracy or monarchy. Remember, democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There is never a democracy that did not commit suicide.

He sat staring out the window. The stars shined as if they would die. The full moon expressed his feeling. He was full of grief as he watched her disappear into the forest. He could never hurt her this way again. And as he began close his window, he heard. The chilling, heart-breaking cry of a wolf. And He knew her fate as the wolf stopped howling. But then a glimpse of white satin rushed by in the forest and he knew she was home.
