He's Back
It was a beautiful day. Too bad it would soon be tinged with the black color of murder. I looked down at my hands. I imagined them soaked with blood. His blood. I looked up at smiled. It would be one of those days.
“Hello Jack.” I turned around, not startled but expecting.
“Hello Jacob.” I said quietly. He was back. And he would die.
I looked upon him, anguish burning in the pit of my heart. He turned against me. I shall do the same to him.
“What are you doing here? I thought you were in Las Vegas, running some kind of brothel.” I asked.
“Well, I thought would come to New York to see my baby brother. That’s not a crime is it?”
“It is. Leave now, and never come back.”
“I am offended Jack. You never want to see me anymore.”
“There’s a reason for that Jacob. You took my wife. You took her and you broke her. She’s in a mental hospital for god’s sake!”
I raised my run to his face.
“I kill you for that.”
A shot rang out. A man fell to the ground. Another walked away.
