Am I skinny enough?
"Am I skinny enough?" That's a daily question in a girl's life. Many women have suffered from bulimia, anorexia, and BDD (Body Dismorphic Disorder). What has caused us to be so focused on what we look like? The answer to this would be magazines and society. Did you know though that almost everything, even in movies is photo-shopped? No one needs to be a toothpick. Does it really matter? No, it doesn't. Trust me, I thought it mattered too, but why can't we just enjoy our lives. I have suffered from BDD and know how it feels to worry about the way I look. Eventually, I began to keep losing weight and looked extremely skinny and it wasn't a turn-on. Be healthy because being anorexic, bulimic, or suffering from BDD isn't the route to go. You're only hurting yourself.
