Summary:
James Williams' best mate is Leo Noir. James' other, and true best mate is Freddrick Noir, Leo's younger brother by one year. Freddie goes off to war, and in the middle of the school year James recieves a letter. Freddie isn't coming home. This story works through James greif, and shows James growing relationship with Freddie before he goes off to war.
