Builders vs Engineers

I think that we have more engineers than builders, which is less common due to the increase in STEM programs, and people want to design theoretical things rather than make something from scratch. This may be because, in modern society, people don't want to be working in a factory because of its reputation as a bad place to work- but in reality, it isn’t. I think that if you are a builder, you have a better understanding of how to design things to make them better quality so that when you make the part, you can feel all of the curves and edges, and you do not have a fear of cutting your hand open as well. It can also be safer to produce because if you choose the incorrect process, your work could shoot into the air, causing a real danger, and easier to produce.
