The Seed Not Planted

Two gold seeds, wisped to and fro;
Regretful, I could not plant the pair
A weary gardener, one was so
Pinched one up, the other I let go,
And away it skidded, fast and fair;
Then planted the first, terrible yet divine,
And perhaps the weather too, agreed,
Because rays of rain and showers of shine
Gave birth to flowers, so dearly of mine
Yet, the other may be grown with weeds
Oh, but the other was a deeper green!
More so empty, but so suckle sweet,
And only lust and heart were unseen,
Yet, there could have been an in-between;
But doubtful now, a new gardener competes.
A third person view, I shall watch again
Somewhere between curious and comfort:
Two gold seeds wisped to and fro, and when-
I planted the one less tempted by men,
I thought, was it worth the effort?
