people cry when they feel left
or when they feel alone
they have their own ways to cope with grief
and let their needs be known
they tire and they feel loss
they make some dumb a** choices
last week I saw some take their lives
and am still plagued by their voices

Ohhh, this was very good. The third and fourth line of the second stanza are really haunting. Well done!
