You’re the reason for my smile
Under all this innocence hides the real passion
I’m not one to stand back in the crowd,
and let life pass me right by,
But I need to say something,
I look into your eyes and see the stars,
and wonder when they will take me away,
Or make my wish come true.
After all this time, I wonder if my long lasted glance
would mean anything to you.
I feel you pull away and I don’t know what to do.
I need a smile every once in a while, even a fake one would do,
but at the end of the day
all I really want is you.
