When I see you with her
I want to scream.
It’s like a shirt
That’s ripped at the seams.
One day I’ll dream of us
Hanging here
Without a fuss
But that is in my dreams.
In reality, it’s cruel
And when I dream,
It’s like a tool
To keep me going
But in the morning
It’s back to living another day
Without you
To finally say
‘I love you.’
