Honestly Evil
Look in the mirror, what do you see?
Do you see your eyes or your nose?
Your hair or your clothes?
Or maybe that freckle over by your ear?
Now that’s not me, that’s not what I see…
I see that demon in the mirror, the demon inside.
Its in the black of my eyes, the twitch in my smile.
It wanits til im down, so low to the ground
Waits to stomp out my strengths, remind me of my faults that ill never forget.
Its deep in my soul and its spiraling me out of control,
Its getting darker and darker, heart beating faster and faster.
But the demon is me. I cant run away.
Shes in my heart, dictating my heart.
Theres nowhere to run when your face is the enemy in the honest silver of the mirror…
