Listening to my music all day,

I have a taste for rock and roll.

My new favorite comes on,

And I just go insane.

A pain in my ears,

I’m brought to tears.

I think that

I am

deaf.

This is a nonet, a poem with nine lines, and the first line has nine syllables, the second has eight, the third has seven, and so on. This is one of five poems in my collection called "Sound".
