The Beast
Some times it trys to escape
to break down every wall i own
sometimes it trys to escape
when im hurt and all alone
so i chase it away with tears
though i chase it away with fear
at times it still consumes me
when no one else can hear
just when i feel it is calm
thats when you come along
and say that stupid word
try as i may it is to late
the beast has already heard
when it is done
im waiting in the ruin
sitting in the cold and all alone
thats when i comprehend
the beast and i are together
the beast and i are one

I really enjoyed the odd, illusive story to this poem. It makes the end very dark and intriguing. I think this is a well done. The flow needed a touch of work, but I think your focus was more the story and the meaning behind the words, and that aspect was beyond amazing.
